Surcharges

Macro Environment Monitoring

Shipium provides macroenvironment monitoring for possible disruptions in weather, industries, origin/destination-specific matters and global finances. The in-house TransOps team then applies appropriate modifications to impacted carriers platform-wide. For example, if a carrier issues a 36 hour delay on deliveries to a set of Midwestern ZIP codes based on a blizzard, we will ensure that all delivery estimate calculations are adjusted by 36 hours.

Technology Performance Monitoring

The team monitors carrier performance, such as their API availability and speed, and resolves issues with carriers when problems arrise on the carrier side.

Customer Service Representative

From technical issues, to integration updates, to billing disputes, Shipium's team acts as the representative on your behalf with carriers.
